My family had the best time staying at The Roman Nobleman,s Historic Loft! Martin and his team were very accommodating, communicative and overall, fabulous hosts.

The property itself exceeded expectations with regards to location. Everything was within walking distance and made getting around Rome so memorable and hassle-free.

Simply the best organized and most helpful host of our month long holiday in Italy and France. Outstanding, friendly and humorous advice coupled with the experience of being an American (his father was a US diplomat posted to Rome) who grew up in Rome. We were very pleased with everyone he or his sister Elizabeth recommended. The MaxiRenella is in a great area with wonderful restaurants, bars, gelaterias, and piazzas within 3 blocks. The apartment is very spacious, secure and quiet with the windows closed. Leave them open (they are quite big in the front room) and enjoy the sounds of Rome.

Martin’s sister lives close by and will be your main contact when you stay here.

About Company Name

CasaPicard apartments are privately owned by the Picard family. Back in 1950, whilst Europe was still smoldering, a dashing French-American by the name of Georges Picard — just back from the War, met a beautiful Austrian-American in Paris not long after the liberation. They were soon transferred to Rome by the US State Department for which they worked all of their working lives. My father short-sightedly never invested in Rome property though he could have bought the apartment they lived in at the Spanish Steps for about $10,000! So when Martin Picard, the last child of 5, sold his software company and suddenly had money to invest, he bought a few dream places in Rome right near where his sister, Elizabeth, and brother John still live.
